Finding your way around a LearnPad



Although LearnPads are Android tablets, they have been installed with our custom software so that teachers can focus access to specific resources in the classroom.

The home screen of each LearnPad looks a little different depending on which Lesson Profile has been loaded by the teacher.

Here's a general guide to the on-screen buttons and their functions:

 

 

1.      Find out which Lesson Profile is loaded onto the LearnPad

2.      Open a Category to access apps and links

3.      Log in (by default this just allows students to type in their name, rather than using a password)

4.      Unlock into Teacher mode (default password: 101Teacher)

5.      Open the QRKey Scanner

6.      Access the Toolbox

7.      Tap to access the extended menu

8.      Take a screenshot

9.      Go back

10.  Go to the Lesson Profile home screen

11.  See which apps are running and switch between them
