Adding YouTube Videos

Adding YouTube Videos

YouTube videos work really well on LearnPad. However, YouTube comments (which appear underneath the videos) are not moderated and are often inappropriate for the classroom. We recommend using a service such as Safeshare or Safeyoutube to create a link to a page that shows only the embedded video, with all comments and other links removed.

Once you have followed the steps on these services and have the final website link to the safe version of the video, you can simply add it as a website Resource like any other.

It is important to note that YouTube videos may be blocked by your school's firewall. If this is the case, you will not be able to play embedded YouTube videos via these services.
